@clickticious @marquel65 @JacobsVegasLife As late as Jan. 1946 it was called "Hotel Wilkerson." I'd like to see the date of that LA Times story. Wilkerson’s son says his father was the one who changed the name to the Flamingo. His 2 books (2000 & 2018) are good but specifics on that detail are lacking.
